The story of a rabbit and a monkey (Motivational story in English)

There was a farmer who had many buffaloes. He used to graze the buffaloes everyday and used to milk them and sell them in the market. He loved animals a lot. He used to buy a buffalo or a goat with whatever money he could save. After some time, when he had saved some money again, he thought that this time he would bring something new. The farmer brought a monkey and a rabbit. Some time passed. One day the farmer thought that today I will play with the monkey and the rabbit. The farmer dug many holes in the ground and then covered them. He put a carrot in one of the holes. Then he said to the monkey and the rabbit that I have kept a carrot in a hole. You have to find it. The rabbit had faith in himself but the monkey did not have faith in himself. Then the rabbit started searching for the carrot in all the holes and the monkey went and sat at one place after some time. The rabbit had seen all the holes. There was one hole left where the monkey was sitting. Then the rabbit dug and brought out the carrot. And the monkey was watching all this and thinking that if I had tried then I would have been good in the eyes of the master today.

Moral of this motivational story in English

Moral of the story is that if the monkey had tried, he could have found the carrot but he didn’t try. Even if we are not succeeding, we should still try because success may be ahead.
